The exhibition presents the history of Torviscosa in its historical, urban and environmental perspectives and has been developed on the basis of primary sources, ie documents of the historical archives of the City, Azienda agricola Torvis, SNIA Viscosa, Caffaro, the companies that have made the history of Torviscosa and now hold the memory.
The exhibition is the result of the European project “City of autarky and cellulose” (ERDF 2007-2013), which has funded extensive work of restoration and enhancement of the historical heritage of Torviscosa documentary.
